Paintings
Much of my work is inspired by the experience of being in lonely places and wild weather. I frequently work outside and take sketches back to the studio to use as a reference in my paintings. These paintings record my reaction to a place and are not meant to be an exact copy of what is there. I work in many different media, including chalk and oil pastels, pencil or crayon, watercolour, acrylics and oils.
